Rich in History
After the Roman occupation, the Arabs invaded the Iberian peninsula in
the 8th century and gave it its current name of Granada. Arab and Islam
influence lasted for 800 years and Granada was the last of the Arab
Kingdoms in the Iberian peninsula to fall to the Christians in 1492
under rule by Queen Isabel of Castile and Ferdinad of Aragon.
Granada boasts the greatest cultural attractions, and the most visited historic monuments in Spain, the Alhambra Palace.

Even today, you can clearly see the influence of the Arab occupation
by observing the architecture and not just in Granada but all over
Spain.
when it comes to cuisine, Granada is a centre for Tapas as these are usually served free of charge with your drink.
Flamenco is folk music from the Andalucian Region of which Granada
is part. Flamenco has evolved from at least four cultures namely,
Gypsies, Arabs, Jews and Indigenous Analucians. A cocktail of cultures,
flamenco takes us back thousands of years!

With the highest mountain range in Spain, Sierra Nevada (Snowed Monutain), Granada is abundant with water.
The region of Granada is one of the largest supplier of quality
spring water. If you have been to Spain you probably have bought or
seen water from Lanjaron which is found in this region of Spain.
